Sanford Mid-Dakota is proud to announce that Kala Shepherd, graduate nurse practitioner, recently passed her board certification exam to become a Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP).
Shepherd is a Chamberlain High School graduate. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from South Dakota State University. She started working as a registered nurse at Sanford Mid-Dakota in 2006 and worked there while she continued her classes at SDSU to get her Master’s of Science in Nursing FNP Specialization.
She joins John Jones, MD, Travis Sanger, MD, Chad Carda, MD, Noel Doromal, MD, Sophie Dojacques, MD, Tonya Struble, CNP, Sarah Newton, PA-C and Melissa Davis, CNP as a provider at Sanford Clinic Chamberlain.
